A message from Steve Taylor, Emergency Manager, City of Homestead

I would like to take this opportunity or moment to first thanks you for all the diligence and hard work that you have done in the best interest of your customer, City of Homestead.

All projects obligated with an extra $2 mil as frosting on the cake!

Some long hours and weekend deadlines I am sure put a damper on personal and family plans. Rest assured it was and is well appreciated.

2020 needless to say has been quite the challenge.

Just know this, like the first responders and health care workers that are being titled as heroes throughout this “C” crisis………You rank there with them as silent heroes, because without you the resident here in Homestead would be suffering even more than they are now had we not recovered the funding that you were able to do for us.

With that….

Thanks You for making this a Good Christmas for us all….

A heartfelt Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays…

- Steve Taylor
